General Terms of Car Rental

Under this agreement, the individual car rental company, Rent Expert Kavala, leases to the signatory tenant the car listed here (including any car that replaces it) in accordance with the following terms and agreements as well as those listed on the front, which are fully accepted by the tenant.

The Lessee received the car which he examined and found to his absolute liking, in excellent condition and suitable for the use and the purpose for which he rents it. The Lessee is obliged to return to Rent Expert Kavala, the car and all the forms, tools and accessories (spare, jack, tools, pharmacy, fire extinguisher, triangle, antenna) that accompany it in the condition in which it was received, and in the place and time defined herein.In the opposite case and after the expiration of the agreed return time, the Lessee will have the obligation to pay to Rent Expert Kavala, the normal charge for use compensation as well as compensation for any positive and negative damage. After 30 minutes from the agreed delivery time of the car the tenant is charged with one (1) additional day of rent.Rent Expert Kavala reserves the right to regain possession and use of the car at any time without notice and without the consent of the Lessee, but at his expense, from anywhere and by any means, in any case where at its discretion there is a risk of damage or loss of the car as well as the risk of non-receipt of compensation. Rent Expert Kavala has the right, except in the above case, to regain possession and use of the car if it has been used or is used in violation of the terms of this agreement or the predetermined lease term.
Throughout the lease, the lessee and anyone who signs this contract is obliged to make good and in accordance with the purpose and current use of the car, to check its mechanical condition, the presence of oil, water, etc., the condition of the tire and its safety, to lock and guard it using the safety systems and to take measures to prevent theft or reduce its value in general.
If the lessee wishes to extend the lease of the car, he is obliged to notify Rent Expert Kavala in writing at least 24 hours before the end of the lease to obtain the relevant written approval, if available. If he fails to do so, he is subject to civil and criminal liability for illegal use and possession of the car.
The lessee must comply with the applicable provisions of K.O.K. as well as any other provision of the Traffic Police. In case of imposition of a fine for violations of the K.O.K. The penalty and the fine are borne exclusively by the lessee. In case the license plates of the car are removed by the competent authorities through the fault of the lessee for violation of the Code or illegal parking, then the tenant is charged the fine (depending on the violation) and the day and for each day of withholding the license plates of the car by the competent authorities, plus 40 euros of management costs.
The lessee is expressly forbidden to use the car for:
a) to carry heavy things and luggage
b) to transport more persons than stated in its marketing authorization
c) lease it to third parties,
d) to follow or participate in motor vehicle races;
e) to let it be driven by others, not listed in the lease agreement.
f) to use it for illegal energy, transport.
In case of accident or other incident (fire, theft, etc.) the tenant or the additional driver is immediately obliged to the following:
a) not to admit guilt or guilt and claims of third parties in any way, direct or indirect
b) note the name and address of the eyewitnesses as well as the name and address of the driver and the details of the car with which the car collided
c) to notify the police in order to establish the fault of the third party and to treat any existing injuries
d) to contact Rent Expert Kavala immediately by phone or by any other means at the telephone numbers listed in the insurance policy.

f) photograph the scene of the accident and the cars involved in the accident if possible.The lessee is obliged to complete and sign an accident / theft statement at the Rent Expert Kavala store within 24 hours and to submit any documents or information related to the accident. In case of theft or loss of the car, the tenant is obliged to report the incident in writing to the nearest police authority within 24 hours.
The car can be driven only by the tenant and an additional driver, which is stated in the lease. Both drivers must be between 18 and 70+ years old and hold a Greek / European or International driving license (along with the original driving license of each country) valid and issued at least one (1) year ago.
The cost of gasoline is borne by the tenant.
Periodic car maintenance is provided by Rent Expert Kavala. It is forbidden for the Lessee to repair the car in case of damage. Car tires are replaced at regular intervals due to physical wear. Damages due to misuse of the car, such as the destruction of sidewalk tires and potholes, are borne by the tenant.
The car is not allowed to leave Greece.
The transport of flammable materials, pollutants, drugs and any other unrelated to this contract is prohibited, as well as the use of the car as an instrument for committing an illegal or criminal act. The violation of this condition as well as the damage resulting from the violation is undertaken by the hired driver.
Rent Expert Kavala does not bear any responsibility for the loss of personal belongings of the lessee as well as those who ride in the rented car during the lease.
The lessee expressly agrees that Rent Expert Kavala is not liable for any positive or negative damage suffered by the lessee or third parties during the lease and no claim can be brought against Rent Expert Kavala for the above reason.
The lessee consents to the detailed registration of his personal data in an electronic file kept by Rent Expert Kavala. It is expressly agreed that Rent Expert Kavala has the right to use this information, when the lessee during the lease makes untrue statements or violates the terms of this agreement and to transmit this information to the Authorities of the country in case of suspicion of performance. criminal or other offense.
Pets are not allowed.

Insurance Terms

INSURANCE:

Necessary condition for the release from liability, the damage is not proven to be due to a violation of the Traffic Code.

Does not cover the following:

- Damage to the interior of the car

- Fines arising from violations of the K.O.K.

- Mechanical damage that will be caused by the fault of the driver

- Damage to exterior mirrors

- Tire damage

- Damage to the underside of the car

- Lock violation - damaged locks

- Loss of car antenna

- Damages to the vehicle caused due to violation of K.O.K. (STOP violation, traffic light violation, speeding, etc.)

No insurance coverage is valid:

- when transporting the vehicle by ship

- if the driver is found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs

- for damage caused by driving on unpaved roads

- for damage to the bottom, wheels, trays, tires, mirrors, antenna, crystals and interior

- for loss of personal belongings inside the vehicle

- for accidents caused by a driver not declared in the lease

- for loss or destruction of the vehicle key

- for the loss or destruction of GPS Navi devices, child seats, snow chains or other accessories

The tenant is responsible for compensating and repairing any damage caused to a vehicle if it is proven that:

Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
After an accident he did not stop and did not take the necessary actions, such as notifying Rent Expert Kavala, the Traffic Police (100), getting the names and addresses of those involved in the accident, as well as not moving the car from the place where The accident took place before the traffic police and a representative of the insurance company arrived at the scene of the accident.
He used the car for illegal and illegal purposes, e.g. smuggling, theft, illegal transport of objects and goods.
He was driving the car overloaded, e.g. while there are seat belts for four people, the car was carrying five people.
The car was driven by someone whose name was not written in the lease agreement.
Use the car for any kind of races or competitions.
Driving the car on unauthorized roads such as beaches, unsuitable roads, mountains, etc.
He was driving the car without observing the road traffic code K.O.K, e.g. Violation of traffic lights, STOP signal, speed limit, upstream input, etc.

Insurance Packages:

Standard Insurance (S.D.W): In the event of any accident, damage, or theft, whether it is your fault or not, the lessee is required to pay the full amount of the damage incurred.
Partial Insurance (C.D.W): In the event of any accident or damage, whether it is your fault or not, the lessee is required to pay the deductible amount up to 500€ for the repair of the damage incurred, including the theft of the car.
Full Insurance (F.D.W): In the event of an accident, damage, or theft, where you are at fault, the lessee is not required to pay any deductible amount for the damage incurred. (This does not apply to the underside of the car and the tires.)

Payment Terms for reservations:

The customer has the obligation to prepay the full amount of the rent due, in order to successfully complete the reservation, in the following ways:

- Bank deposit

* Payment must be made within 4 hours at the latest so that your reservation is not canceled, unless the receipt of the vehicle is in less than 4 hours where you will have to pay immediately.

Certification services

Your payments are supported by the Visa and MasterCard SecureCode cardholder certification services of Visa and MasterCard and Paypal Paying Agencies respectively. The cardholder certification service is provided by the Bank, in cooperation with third party providers. These services are intended to provide you with additional protection when making web-based payments with your card, provided that they have been activated by the issuing bank of the card you are using and that you have already obtained a personal code (pin) that you will use exclusively for payments on the web, following the instructions of your Bank. In order to implement the cardholder certification service, you may need to transfer your card details to a third party provider in cooperation with the Bank.

ATTENTION: Even if the issuer Bank of your card is not yet involved in the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode services, your transaction will be normally accepted and executed safely.

Cancellation Terms

In case of cancellation of a reservation, Rent Expert Kavala is entitled to withhold the following cancellation fees:

- 40% of the total rental cost, for cancellations declared from (47 hours) to (24 hours) before the start date of the rental.

- 60% of the total rental cost, for cancellations declared from (23 hours) to (2 hours) before the start date of the rental.

- In case the rental is either the same day (less than 2 hours) or the customer does not show up, the total rental cost is non-refundable.

Note: In case of return of the vehicle earlier than the expiration date of the booking-rental, no refund will be given.

Free Cancellation

Free Cancellation is valid for cancellations made up to 48 hours before the rental day. Otherwise the total rental amount will not be refunded.

Cancellations must be sent in writing to Rent Expert Kavala (Email, Whatsapp) or by phone to the numbers listed on our website.

Other terms

1. The car is always owned by Rent Expert Kavala. This is only a lease agreement.

2. The lessee is in no way and in no case a representative of Rent Expert Kavala. The lessee acknowledges that he acquires no rights other than those mentioned in this contract.

During the lease all additional drivers are jointly and severally liable with the Lessee

3. This agreement takes precedence over any other prior written or oral agreement between Rent Expert Kavala and the lessee.

4. Rent Expert Kavala may not waive its rights under the law and this agreement

5. Any modification of the terms herein is void if not agreed in writing

6. The lessee agrees and accepts that all the above conditions apply both in the case of the original agreement with Rent Expert Kavala and in cases of extension of the lease term and / or replacement of the initially leased car with another.

7. In case of any discrepancy between the copies and the original of this agreement, the original in the possession of Rent Expert Kavala shall prevail.

8. The Contracting Parties recognize and accept all the terms of this agreement as essential and essential for its purposes.

This agreement is governed by Greek Law and any dispute arising between Rent Expert Kavala and the lessee under this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kavala.

I, the hired driver of the car, expressly state to Rent Expert Kavala that I have become aware of the above terms and I accept them unconditionally, promising to comply with them.

Means of payment:

The tenant is required to provide a credit card as collateral for the rental, even if the payment is made in cash. The rent is prepaid.

Deliveries - Receipts outside business hours:

Customer surcharge 25 €.

Deliveries - Receipts outside stations:

Off-site deliveries and receipts are made at the request of the customer. The charge for deliveries within cities is 15 € + VAT, while for deliveries outside cities the cost is 25 € + VAT plus 1.45 + VAT per km

IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT, THE CUSTOMER IS OBLIGATORY, IRRESPECTIVE OF HIS culpability, TO COMPLETE THE ACCIDENT DECLARATION, UNDER ARTICLE 70.
